Experience:
Carol has fifteen years of public accounting experience and has been with the firm for ten years. Prior to joining Metzler Locricchio Serra & Co. in 1999, she worked for a large local public accounting firm since 1990. She worked as a tax department secretary full-time while attending college. She was promoted to a staff accountant position in 1994 prior to graduating. In 1998, she was transferred to London, England to a three month temporary assignment at a member firm. While in London, she prepared individual and corporate tax returns and also assisted with European Value Added Tax issues.
She is actively involved in the areas of tax preparation and review, accounting, consulting, and tax planning. The wide variety of clients that she serves includes both for-profit and non-profit organizations, as well as individuals, trusts, and estates. Her industry experience includes manufacturing, retail, service, health care, real estate, and entertainment.
Education:
Carol obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College in 1996. In 1997, she successfully completed the CPA exam and was certified in 1998.
