Monica M. Malloy, CPA - Tax Manager
Experience:
Monica has been a tax manager at Metzler Locricchio Serra & Co. P.C since February, 1993. Before joining Metzler, Locricchio Serra & Co. P.C., she worked for a variety of public accounting firms which ranged from a large, international firm to smaller, local firms where she specialized in taxes and tax planning. She has been in public accounting her entire professional career, with the exception of a year and a half she spent in industry.
Monica enjoys the challenges of addressing complex tax issues for all types of entities and individuals. Monica believes that achieving the goal of tax savings balanced with clients’ non-tax considerations, while remaining in compliance with tax laws, involves analysis and creativity. She has handled Internal Revenue Service and State of Michigan audits and other compliance matters. Monica’s experience includes service industries, construction, real estate, manufacturing, and wholesale businesses, as well as trusts, estates, and not-for profit organizations.

Education:
Monica obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan in 1980. In 1980, she successfully completed the CPA exam and was certified in 1982, after the required two years of public accounting experience.
