Kavita Somani
EXPERIENCE:
Kavita is currently a manager at Metzler Locricchio Serra & Co, P.C. She joined the firm in 2004 and has been actively involved in compiled and reviewed financial statement engagements for operational companies, in addition to retirement plan audits, taxes, accounting and tax planning. She has vast experience covering numerous industries. Prior to working at our firm, she worked in public accounting in India for ten years in the areas of accounting, auditing and taxation.

EDUCATION
Kavita obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from the University of Calcutta, India in 1996. In 2000, she successfully completed the CPA exam. She was certified in 2008, after completing the required public accounting experience in the United States. In addition, she obtained her certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1997 and a Diploma in Information System Audit from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2003.
